Senior Master Sergeant
Jeffery Willie currently serves as Superintendent,
Dyess AFB
Honor Guard, 7th Bomb Wing,
Dyess Air Force, Texas.
His primary responsibilities are to provide military
ceremonies and military funeral honors throughout 38
Texas counties (110,000 square miles) and the
Dallas/Fort Worth
National Cemetery.
Sergeant Willie entered the Air Force in April 1977. After completion of basic
training, he attended Security Police Technical School at Lackland
Air Force Base, Texas.
Following technical training, he has had various assignments
in the Security Police career field to include Hahn Air Base,
Germany; Scott Air Force Base, Illinois; Little Rock Air Force Base,
Arkansas; Florennes Air Base, Belgium; and Dyess Air Force Base,
Texas. In August 1990,
Sergeant Willie retrained in the First Sergeant career field and has
performed duties at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas; Dhahran, Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia; and Seeb North Air Base, Muscat, Oman.
In November 1983,
Sergeant Willie was selected to be the Air Force Security Police
Representative to the White House. Additionally, Sergeant
Willie is an Honorary Colonel in the Arkansas State Police, an
honorary member of the Arkansas Highway Police, and a Certified
Arkansas Law Enforcement Instructor in Rapid Response and Special
Weapons and Tactics. He is an Adjunct Instructor for the Dyess Air
Force Base Airman Leadership School,
an Adjunct Teacher for Abilene Christian University, and a
Franklin Covey 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Facilitator. He
is also a certified mediator for Alternative Dispute
Resolution.
